Kosmos was founded by Sanjay Gidwani after decades of building and operating complex enterprise software environments across support, engineering, and delivery organizations.

Throughout his career, one pattern surfaced again and again: companies had the right data but lacked a shared understanding of it across systems and teams.

Incidents were investigated in silos. Root cause analysis was slow, manual, and often rediscovered multiple times. Valuable operational knowledge remained fragmented, living in tools, tickets, dashboards, and tribal memory.
